Food Safety System Certification

Calheiros Cruz Wines, a national company, defends that food safety is a key issue that must meet high standards of strictness required in the agri-food sector in order to protect customers and consumers.

For this reason the company opted for voluntary certification of its food safety system, consulting for that the SGS Certification Body.

Calheiros Cruz Wines’ management system has been audited and found to comply with the requirements of standard NP EN ISO 22000:2005 – the production of table wines.

Calheiros Cruz Wines’ quality system is a strategic tool for the company’s development and growth; since it allows a permanent and continuous improvement, as well as a strict quality control at all stages of the production process, that is, from the arrival of grapes to our winery to the shipping of the final product.
